| Quiet little aire just SW of Angouleme good service point and easy to find. Follow the village signs off the E606 and after a couple of roundabouts the aire is on right before you get to village (opposite a MH hire centre). Village has usual shops for bread etc. CAUTION – There are 2 raised manholes in the middle of the aire – approx 18 inches high

Angouleme is a nice old city with ramparts and cathedral – well worth a visit. Small lake at side of aire with picnic tables. Ok for night stop
