In the Quinson museum carpark there is an area before the height barriers, next to the coach park that is dedicated to camper vans. There is a service point with water, WC and waste water if you use a bucket. When we were there the service point was in a scruffy state, covered in rubbish and folks hadn’t been too particular where they poured their toilet waste – very stinky indeed.
If you wanted to use a good Service point then there is a campsite some 350mtrs away however it closes on the 20th Sept |

This place is very convenient for taking a trip up the Verdon Gorge by using any of the several boat hire places located on the banks of the Verdon some 200 mtrs away. This is a good spot to explore the Verdon without being crowded and looks just as beautiful. There is also the Quinson museum to visit. We didn’t go so cannot comment on content. There is an “historic dwelling village” approx 500 mtrs along the Verdon to the east that supposed to give children an insight and chance to explore a mock troglodite village. Across the other side of the river is another spot that looked even better but it was marred by signs banning campers from staying overnight.
