Excellent site for touring around the lower Peak District and convenient for several National Trust sites.  The site is divided into two areas with two toilet blocks.  The first area appears mainly for Motorhomes and is totally set up with concrete hard standing pitches.  There is little or no room for awnings but fine if the grass pitches are waterlogged.  The second area is basically a field with a few hard standing pitches and the remainder grass.  There are no dividing lines and no shade so would be excellent for awnings etc.  There is a MH service point near to reception, a good information room and free WIFI throughout although a tad slow at times.

Prices very reasonable starting at around £20 per night – some £12 per night cheaper than the CMC site 400 yds up the road
