Handy campsite within cycling distance of Carcassonne with reasonable facilities and possibly the most covid concious site in the country.  The site was originally called “Campind Les Pinhiers” but has been taken over by the current owners who are very friendly and keen to build up the business.  The site has been run down for years and not all pitches have EHU and a variety of pitch sizes with lots of low trees.  That said they have a bar/restaurant and a swimming pool.  The prices are reasonable at €14 per night all in.  The village has just about everything you need from supermarkets, markets, butchers, Boulangeries, chemist, cafe’s and restaurants, takeaways – even a post office.  The Canal du Midi is quite near but does involve cycling on the main road for around 900mtrs until you reach the canal towpath.
