Good Aire for those wanting to explore all parts of Ile de Re as it is close enough to walk to the Phare (lighthouse) and is only a few mtrs from the beach.  Village has all amenities (though not well signed) including restaurants, bar, mini supermarket, post office and bank – not to mention a Tourist Information Office.  The Aire, while not the cheapest around has full EHU, service point and reasonable hard standing.  It is barrier operated and in October 2021 was €18 per night inclusive.  As with all of Ile de Re cycling routes are the key to getting around.
