Roquefort-sur-Soulzon is the Roquefort cheese place.  The aire is a part of the car park on the left as you enter the village. It is about a kilometre from the car park to the cheese “caves”, with an overflow area at the other end of the village. There are several big Co-operatives including “Société”, that offer guided tours around the caves with talks about how the cheese is made. The aire is quiet in the evening and has good views but no shade.

Attractions Nearby:   Fabulous views and a few walks – details from the Tourist Office at                                           the top of the carpark.  This is a cheese producing village and all                                                 village activity has declined with no square, cafe’s etc.  At night on a                                         good day the top of the Millau bridge can be seen.
