Aire is located right by the tunnel on the N75 southbound along the Verdun Gorges. Incredible scenery and nice interesting town.  The camper parking area is squashed into the left hand side and is littered with cars until late at night. Municipal toilets across the road are operational but very basic.   Very tight access for large vans.
Attractions Nearby:    Cost per 24hrs:	Digne les Bains  For recreation the hike to the citadel can be reached via the road past the toilets which climbs up through woodland and around the back to eventually enter the town. Return through tunnel via pedestrian walkway to Aire.   Free
