The only campsite close enough to use when visiting the Medieval Cite at Carcassonne.  The Aire is a bit closer however the cost difference is only€2 so hardly worth staying at the Aire now given all the facilities at the camp site.  Good facilities and large pitches.  Restaurant on site open every day with good quality reasonably priced food.  Swimming pool and three toilet blocks.  Laundry.  On the down side there is only one rubbish and WC emptying point and that is near the reception area.  Sadly it closes early October and opens in April so no good for winter campers who will have to use the Aire.
