Poncin is 18kms SSE of Bourg-en-Bresse.Take the N75 from Bourg and then left on the N84 at Pont d’Ain for 9kms. Turn left on the D91 into the village and follow the signs to the aire. The aire is next to the sports facilities and the toilets. The village is quiet attractive, with the shops, etc. only a few minutes walk away. It is quiet, apart from a little traffic noise from the A404 about 2kms away. There is little shade.
